MP3 & PDF - Sleep Through Baby (tm) Systemquestion about babys eyes?
It's totally normal, if it persist past 1yo, then it's not normal anymore.
The eyes muscles aren't formed yet. Your baby will need to learn how to focus and correct her own vision, the brains adjust the focus and muscles in consequence.Sounds like lazy eye (amblyopia) and at 7 weeks is probably normal. The eye muscles have not fully formed. It is good that you taking the baby to the ophthalmologist to get the diagnosis verified. If your baby does have amblyopia, treatment can be started quite early and the earlier the treatment, the better. There can be a hereditary component to amblyopia and many other eye defects. Chances are your eye doctor will tell you to stop worrying and bring the baby back when she is a year old.
