My baby is alergic to *Gerber baby food *?
I Would Ask Your Babys Doctorsome how get in contact with a doc and STOP feeding the baby the gerber stuffit may not necessarily the Gerber food it may just be a particular food. I would suggest just feeding the baby cereal until the parents return or you can see a doctor.well if she is almost two..is there any fruits or vegies around the house? crackers work nice also. cut up the fruits, the ones that work best are bananas, cuz they are soft. don't use stringy fruits they don't deigest well for little kids. but make sure the other foods that you want to try arn't high in sugar. that can harm the childs teeth. use juice tho, milk,water. but crackers/fruits (bananas)/vegies will work fine until your husband gets back from where he was at.Hi, good of you to watch the baby. You need to watch very close because allergies can progress to the point where people have problems breathing. If you think there are any breathing issues at all, call 911. I don't want to scare you, but people can and do have life threatening allergic reactions every day. I do agree with the person that said that it isn't most likely baby food in general, but one specific type of food. Good luck.I sounds like it's the particular food that she is eating. It's probably not all Gerber baby food itself. If the reaction gets life threating then you should call 911 immediately. Quit feeding her the baby food, and call the baby's doctor or urgent care if possible. To relieve an allergic reaction see if the parents have benadryl around. Give the child the correct dosage.Benadryl and no more of that food if she starts wheezing or gasping for air call 911If she is swelling call 911 RIGHT NOW! You have no idea what else could be swelling inside her. Take the jar (s) of whatever she at today with you to the hospital. FIND A WAY TO CONTACT YOUR SISTER.She's not allergic to 'Gerber' baby food... she's allergic to whatever is in the jar. If you have to, call an ambulance!!CALL THE DOCTOR...U don't need 2 go to the Doctor. They should definitely B able to help U on the phone. I would call immediately & ask 2 speak w/ an Advice RN right away. she/he will ask u various questions 2 help the Baby....PLEASE...Call NOW....
