Nutramigen Formula
nutramigenbabyformula.com This is a website that talks about everything you need to know about Nutramigen formula. It is written by a father of 4 children with food allergies and it provides a great resource to parents.
I am trying to switch my son off nutramigen and he is vomitting when I mix it with new formula is this norm?
You can look it up in this site just type in baby formula.Couldn't say, I only breastfed my babies and they never got sick like that. Hope you find a good answer. If he is healthy to switch, he wouldn't be throwing up. I had a child on Nutramigen for 14 months. We were able to slowly transition her after that. He may not be ready. You will have to take it easy. He is showing you something that tells you he isn't ready for the switch. Keep him on at least a month longer before you try switching and introduce it slowly into his diet as you are doing.
ONLY you know whether he is really ready for this, the doctor doesn't see him every day.I know you think you are doing the baby a favor by "mixing" the two to sort of switch over but it is really best to just go from one to the other. That is the same when going from formula to cows milk, don't mix the two, frankly they don't mix, just do formula one day and milk the next.
