SIMILAC FORMULA RECALL!
September 23, 2010, 2:34 AM I have cans from months ago that I purchased that are on the recall list! That means that my son has been drinking this for MONTHS! I am sooo upset and disgusted! Check your cans: similac.com Info: pediatrics.about.com *The voluntary action affects less than 5 million Similac-brand powder formulas sold in the US, Puerto Rico, Guam and some Caribbean countries. The company said the products may contain a small beetle or larvae, which could cause stomach ache and digestion problems.

What is the difference between enfamil soy and similac alimentum which is better for infants?
Well, alimentum is not soy milk, it just has all the proteins broken down already...My daughter stayed on alimentum for her first year, after she was diagnosed with colic and reflux...It was the ONLY thing she could keep down -- and I mean, we tried everything -- goat's milk, homemade formula, etc.
Actually, unless your child has a medical reason to use the alimentum, I'd try the Carnation Good Start first (less expensive)
