Gerber Clutch multi-tool: High Value Utility

The Gerber Clutch multi-tool (MT) proves that mini tools dont have to be expensive to be useful. It possesses most of the utility had by larger tools, albeit with reduced leverage. In the Clutch you can find needle nosed pliers, wire cutters, a well-shaped blade, two-dimensional drivers, tweezers, and a nail maintenance tool. Another bonus over some competitors, like the Leatherman Squirt P4, is a conventionally ground and larger blade that could fill many of your EDC roles. Possible downsides would include: a bit larger size and more weight than the P4 MT (the mini MT class leader I think) and the smallest flathead screw bit needed some grinding for additional precision. Only way to tell is by looking at the bottom of the container. You could always call them and ask. It is a huge problem that not everyone is truly informed about. I'm doing a research paper right now about BPA and fetuses, infants, and children are more susceptible to the ill effects. Some people don't realize that since the chemical is in everything all most, the level the EPA says is safe is achieved quickly and then some. 95% of Americans have levels that in lab animals showed significant damage. It is sad and concerning. I will make my research paper available to you if you'd like when it is complete. In the meantime use glass unless you can identify which plastic is used by looking at the symbol on the bottom of the bottle. Using canned goods is also a bad idea because the liners are made of more BPA than the plastic bottles contain.
