Profit or Prudence-Saving the Human Species PART ONE
Colin Knauf speaks out for health, harmony and natural nurturing as the only way to peace on the planet. The western world must change its industrialized medical model of birth if we are to survive. Our poor health and aggression is a result of a profit over prudence mentality. Our two highest profit centres of the globe are dependent on our medical model of birth. War and Pharmaceuticals are the two biggest money makers on the planet and they are killing us. Natural birth, mother's milk of human kindness -which is the elixir of life and vital touch are a necessary part of healthy human psychological and physiological development. A myriad of scientific research and empirical evidence proves nature is the best and cheapest health care plan. Nature provides happiness, health and harmony for free. Sadly in our culture of commerce and consumption there is no value for anything that doesn't turn a profit and there is no fiscal dividend in FREE -free birth, free meals and free baby care. When we short circuit any one of these three essentials in a baby's most important primal year, we do horrendous harm. We witness that harm on the news daily. We need our medical profession, educators and policy makers to bring the facts to the attention of government. Mother nature doesn't turn a profit and she can't afford government lobbyists? Our very survival needs you, to lobby for change. Thank you for making a difference and for securing a future.
