Nature's One

Ruth Heller's prose and pictures are the perfect means for discovering the variety of oviparous animals and their unique ways of laying eggs.

"A highly original book, on the improbable subject of eggs...Simple enough for three-year-olds, and complex enough for those considerably older." --The New Yorker

"Bold, bright illustrations complement the informative text...A touch of humor and rhyme leave youngsters with a wealth of information--and an impressive new vocabulary word." --The Mailbox

As a pharmacist I get this question quite a bit and here is my recommendation: go with what you're comfortable with.

Now, Natures Bounty has a decent name and I'm sure they put together a quality product. And you'll find all kinds of reasons why you can or can't take them.

For example, the supplement industry is big on touting how they don't have excipients (extra ingredients). How they use higher quality ingredients (this is often not proven). They will also tout that they have a doctor or other health care provider vouching for the quality of their product.

What they fail to mention is that those doctors are paid spokespersons.

Now, that also doesn't mean that more expensive products are ripping you off. It's just that sometimes you need to look at any product the same way you would look at buying a car.

Do your research but you may want to test drive them.

I recently did a review of Spring Valley Vitamins. I use them as an example because they aren't the cheapest, or the most expensive. They push their products but aren't selling them through outrageous headlines and hype.

In short, I thought they were a good product that were being sold for a reasonable price.

That will also help you evaluate any other vitamins you'll be looking at and make the best decision for you.

Best
